CORPUS CHRISTI - Get ready to hang ten and shred as the new surf simulator is set to debut at Hurricane Alley.
The premier of the newest attraction at Hurricane Alley is finally here. The "Shredder's" grand opening to the public is set for Saturday, June 26th. The Shredder is a double Flowrider surf simulator where guests can ride the waves of running water at 35 MPH.
Flowriders Women's World Pro Champion, Xana-Kai Nash will be on hand at the premier to give guests a demonstration of how to ride the surf simulator like a pro. At the age of 15, Xana-Kai is the youngest female flowboarder to hold the world title, and she is a great supporter of SYW, Support Young Women in Action Sports.
The new Flowrider is the first of it's kind in Corpus Christi, and it's similar to wake boarding, snowboarding, skateboarding, and of course surfing.
Hurricane Alley CC is open 7 days a week, and currently offering daily specials.
