CORPUS CHRISTI- Hundreds of people got their heart pumping Saturday morning at the American Heart Association Heart Walk.
The goal of the free 5-K run and walk at Heritage Park was to help stomp out heart disease.
Jennifer Lira of KRIS Six News was MC of the event.
Justin Carranza is the person who raised the most money for the event.
Carranza is a heart disease survivor.
His original goal was to raise five thousand dollars, but he ended up raising ten thousand towards the cause.
