CORPUS CHRISTI - About 200 people showed up to shake it over at the Corpus Christi Gym today. The city parks and recreation hosted this "Zumba Explosion." Zumba is a combination of Latin and international music and is a popular fitness craze right now. Today's four hour event was free for people of all ages.
Henry Lara, Recreation Coordinator said, "Come on out! Even if it's not zumba. If it's aerobics or if it's joining a gym. Anything to get your family off the couch and get them moving."
