HS Football Preview: Robstown Cotton Pickers

ROBSTOWN - Winless in 2011 the Pickers return 19-starters all anticipating a better season. Their defense returns multiple stars in Safety David Vargas and Linebacker Kevin Pena.
"We gotta focus on not beating ourselves, we have talent speed we just can't beat ourselves," said Linebacker Kevin Pena.
Meanwhile here's a neat factoid, the Robstown Offensive Line has three brothers all starting, and they go be the Pena's.
"We're going into a lot of competition but we aren't worried right now we are taking it game by game and just have a lot of confidence in ourselves," said Running Back Omar Elizondo.
Their district will be a challenge as 30-3A is arguably the most competitive from top to bottom in the area.
"Well right now we are worried about Sinton and we have a strong district this time," said Quarterback Luis Rodriguez.
