CORPUS CHRISTI - 2011 was a humbling season for Ray, who was young and inexperienced. The result was a 2-8 record, but now a year later and that season to forget may start paying dividends.
"That taught us to start fighting for what we want and this year we are going after it and will show people how Texans play football," said Quarterback Marcus Mosley.
Head Coach Cody Simper returns 18-starters including Quarterback Marcus Mosley who threw for over 1,600 yards and 7-TD's, while rushing for nearly another 400 yards and 7-more TD's.
"A lot of people are looking at us as any easy win, and we are the same players but a different team this year," said Linebacker Rodrigo Solis.
His big target Matthew Merino returns, plus transfer Ben Brooks adds some much needed size and leaping ability.
"I have a lot of confidence in my teammates and I think we can make playoffs for sure if we just get out there and get after it we will be fine," said Lineman Collin Breckenridge.
