Howard Charged with DWI for Blockbuster Store Crash

'Hallucinating' Driver Hits Blockbuster Store

CORPUS CHRISITI - Xavier Howard, 30, is charged with driving while intoxicated for crashing his truck into a Blockbuster at Kostoryz and Gollihar on Tuesday.

Police say Howard went over a curb, spun around in the parking lot and went through the store windows. He was taken to the hospital with minor injuries.

After his release, Howard was taken to jail. A passenger who fled the scene was also caught, but later released without charges.
