Houston-Area Woman Accused Of Killing Son

HOUSTON - A Houston-area woman has been accused of killing her 19-year-old son by shooting him in the head as he sat on a couch after they argued.
The Harris County Sheriff's Office on Tuesday did not immediately provide information on a murder charge pending against the woman. She told investigators that her son shoved her during the first of two arguments Monday. He was later shot while sitting on a sofa.
Phillip Vanshawn Apostolo was declared dead at a hospital.
Investigators did not immediately say why the woman and Apostolo disagreed.
