House Fire Still Under Investigation

Wife Of Former CCPD Captain At Burn Center - KZTV

CORPUS CHRISTI - Firefighters are still not sure what caused a fire that destroyed two homes over in the Calallen area Monday.

Firefighters suspect it may be electrical in nature.

We're told the fire did start in the garage of the one of the homes in the 5200 block of Northwest Trial.

Former CCPD Captain Ken Starr is in San Antonio with his wife who was badly burned in the house fire.

We're told she has second and third degree burns on her upper body and will be sedated until Thursday, when she will have surgery.
