CORPUS CHRISTI - No major changes to the forecast as we remain under the control of high pressure over South Texas which is going to promote the heat on into the weekend and for much of next week as well.
Today will be very hot with highs in the upper 90s to triple digits for the inland areas under sunny skies. Winds: SE 10-20
Tonight will be a few degrees above seasonal levels in the middle 70s under mostly clear skies to start and a few clouds rolling in later in the overnight hours. Winds: S 4-8
Winds will begin to pick up on Sunday and our overnight lows will come back up to the upper 70s to lower 80s. Other than that, the tropics are quiet in the Atlantic as Hurricane Gil forms in the Pacific and is no bother to anyone at this time.
