Hooter's Customer Accused of Paying with Fake $100 Bills

CORPUS CHRISTI - A Hooter's employee called police last night after seeing a man accused of paying with a counterfeit bill back at the business.

As police showed up, Hernan Caudillo was running out the front door. Police say the 19-year-old was trying to pay with fake $100 bills.

According to police, Caudillo was intoxicated and found to be carrying several fake bills, some pills, and marijuana. We're told he was also carrying paperwork from a recent release from jail. Police say the paperwork indicated he gave a fake name when dealing with authorities in that case.

He's now back in jail for failing to appear in court on probation violation, a municipal court warrant, public intoxication, possession of marijuana, drug possession, and forgery.
