Homeowners Stung 100 Times by Swarm of Bees

CORPUS CHRISTI - A couple in their 50's is in the hospital after they're attacked by a swarm of bees. Vector Control officials say the man and woman were mowing their backyard on Broughton Drive this morning.

They apparently disturbed a bee hive underneath a dog house. The man and woman were stung up to 100 times each.

Both are now at Doctor's Regional Hospital for treatment.

*Big thanks to our photographer Dennis K. for having his own bee suit which allowed him to get up close to the action.*
