Homeowner: City to Repair Damage from Sewage Flood

CORPUS CHRISTI - We have some new information about that poor guy who's trying to get the city to clean up his house after a city crew accidentally flooded it with raw sewage.

Today, Jose Vera told us that the city will have crews out Monday to remove the furniture from his house on Cheryl Drive and then pull out the walls and the flooring that was soaked with sewage.

As we reported, a city wastewater crew was working near Mr. Vera's house last month when it did something that caused the toilets to back up and flood the house with a nasty mess.
