Preparing for homecoming week is stressful, crazy, and a fun experience. On Monday, it's ‘Merica Monday', which means we wear red, white and blue. We have other different themed days to show our school spirit as the week continues. On Wednesday, both the parents and our students prepare for the fun parade at 6 pm. We decorate trailers and trucks for the parade, which is followed by the well-known burning of the "T"--a great Ray High School Texan tradition.
The pep rally and football game on Friday raise the students' level of excitement throughout the day, building up to the big dance on Saturday. It is especially stressful for the girls having to find a dress related to the theme of the dance (Carnaval). The dance is from 8pm to midnight at the American Bank Center. See you there!
