Next Wednesday, September 25th, W.B. Ray High School will be holding the 5th annual Homecoming Parade and Burning of the T. The entire student body, especially the freshman, are excited to get to see all of the organizations, athletic teams, cheerleaders, Tex-Anns, and the Texan Band march down Staples street and around the corner to participate in the Burning of the T. Many organizations will be decorating their own original floats to ride on during the parade.
Several students also contributed unused pieces of cloth to wrap up the huge Texan T; enough to set it ablaze in its bright glory. During the ceremony, the Cheerleaders, Tex-Anns and Band will all preform for the students as they watch the T burn.
