Home Explosion Victim Dies in San Antonio Hospital

CORPUS CHRISTI - One of the men critically injured in last week's home explosion on Holmes Drive has died. The brother of Robert 'Bob' Farley says he died around 6 o'clock this afternoon at a burn unit in San Antonio.

Farley was thrown across the street by the explosion that also critically injured 25-year-old Ryan Conner. The younger man is still being treated for severe burns, broken bones and a head injury.

The natural gas explosion tore apart their home on Holmes Drive and sparked fires that claimed 2 neighboring homes. Dozens more homes and apartments sustained damage from the concussion wave and debris.

Farley had moved to Corpus Christi from Arkansas for a job in construction.
