CORPUS CHRISTI - Corpus Christi police arrested 25 people for DWI over the Thanksgiving holiday weekend.
The arrests were made between Friday and Sunday.
Five people refused to give breath or blood tests, so officers obtained search warrants for blood draws.
There's blood or breath evidence for all 25 DWI cases filed with the District Attorney's office.
Last year, out of the 26 DWI arrests, only 14 included blood or breath evidence.
A CCPD spokesman says having this evidence makes it easier to prosecute DWI cases.
