CORPUS CHRISTI -- A man accused of hitting a teen -- in his car -- and leaving the scene of the accident is expected in court tomorrow.
Eric Acevedo is charged with failure to stop and render aid.
He's being held on a $1 million bond.
Police say Acevedo struck 17-year-old Christian Carrillo earlier this month as he
was walking home from his job at Cici's Pizza on Ayers.
Carrillo's mom says Christian is making progress.
He's still in the ICU on life support though.
But, his mother says when he hears her voice he'll move his eyes and try to find her in the room.
