Head On Crash Sends Two Drivers To The Hospital

CORPUS CHRISTI -- Two cars got into a head-on crash on Yorktown this morning.

According to initial reports, emergency crews rushed both drivers to the hospital.

It's not known exactly what caused the accident.

Police shut down both sides of the road -- near Mud Bridge -- until they cleared everything up.

A witness said she heard the crash and thinks the windy weather could've contributed to the accident.

Lina Monturori said, "I looked in my rear view mirror to see them bouncing off the wall right there in the middle. The wind! That lady got blown into this lane. I'm pretty sure that's what happened."
