Hazel Bazemore Park Brush Fire

Hazel Bazemore Brush Fire - KZTV

CORPUS CHRISTI - Fire crews working to keep brush fire at Hazel Bazemore Park from reaching nearby homes. Small 'hot spots' were all that remained of the fire along County Road 69 by 2 p.m.

The fire was out by 2:15 and firefighters were immediately assigned to respond to another grass fire call.

There are reports of several other fires across the Coastal Bend, as well as low visibility due to flying dust and debris.

All around it sounds like a hard day's work for firefighters.
