CORPUS CHRISTI - Zavion Hall, 22, remains in the Nueces County jail for allegedly robbing three homeowners at gunpoint early Sunday morning. According to police, Hall approached residents on Panama Drive, Santa Anna Street and Camway Drive between 6:50 a.m. and 7:56 a.m.
One of the victims, David Lozano, says Hall came up behind him and demanded his wallet. Lozano told us he turned around to find a man smoking a cigarette holding a gun to his face.
Police say Hall was driving a stolen truck as he carried out his crime spree. An officer eventually spotted Hall on Larcade Drive, near Kostoryz and McArdle.
Hall allegedly bailed out of the truck which rolled into a police officer's patrol car. That officer was taken to the hospital to be checked out as other officers arrested Hall.
Police tells us Hall is charged with two counts of aggravated robbery, one count of home burglary, possession of marijuana, evading arrest, criminal trespass and unauthorized use of a vehicle.
The Toyota truck was stolen sometime last month. Police say they were able to recover some of the items stolen from residents.
Back in September Hall plead guilty to two counts of auto burglary for an incident on Lynwood Lane near Carroll High School. In those cases he was given just 45 days in jail. According to court records, Hall was released in mid-January.
