CORPUS CHRISTI - Tonight, the Haas Middle School Warriors football team will play their first game since teammate Cameron Espinosa died as the result of a severe allergic reaction to ant bites on their home field.
The Warriors, as well as other middle school teams, will play at Cabaniss Field or Buc Stadium until the school district comes up with a long term solution to concerns about field conditions.
Today, CCISD Superintendent Scott Elliff met with a doctor specializing in allergies to discuss how to properly equip medics and/or school staff with medications to deal with any allergic reactions. The men also discussed how to properly train staff to avoid any medication errors.
We'll have a live report from Cabaniss Field tonight on KRIS 6 News.
