CORPUS CHRISTI- The widespread rain is now over and dry air will move in behind the upper level low with very pleasant conditions for the next 36 hours. Here are the details.
An upper level disturbance and pacific cold front moved thru south Texas early this morning bringing significant and badly needed rain to the area. A few of the thunderstorms were strong with locally heavy rain but the vast majority of the activity was not severe. Dry air will filter in on the backside of the upper level low bring beautiful weather to the area tonight thru Friday afternoon. The next front will be colder and produce light rain over several days beginning early Sunday. Temperatures will be approaching freezing here toward the end of next week.
Tonight will be mainly clear and much cooler with a low of 49.
Thursday will be outstanding with mostly sunny skies light winds and a high of 75.
**the weather goes down hill late Friday afternoon thru most of next week. Stay Tuned.
