ORANGE GROVE - A family with 5 kids has lost everything they own in a fast moving house fire this morning on County Road 350 in Orange Grove.

Alice fire officials say the grandmother rescued all of the children from the home as it burned. The children were not injured, but the grandmother did suffer burns to her hands. She was treated by paramedics at the scene.

The fire was put out rather quickly by fire crews, but it was too late to save anything from the home. All they have left is the clothes on their backs.

A witness tells us the grandmother, lives in the home with her own daughter and her five children.

Until they can make other arrangements everyone will be staying with family.
