CORPUS CHRISTI - A somewhat frightening scene this morning over at the Port of Corpus Christi. Ten grain cars derailed along the Joe Fulton Corridor. Some were left on their sides while others are sticking up into the air after the impact.
It's unclear what caused this mess, but no one was hurt and neither car traffic nor train traffic were impacted.
The cars belong to ADM and are used to haul grain, but were empty at the time.
Port of Corpus Christi and Union Pacific officials are looking into what went wrong.
