CORPUS CHRISTI - An absolutely gorgeous Saturday over South Texas as sunny skies, mild to warm temperatures, and a gentle breeze made outdoor activity very enjoyable this afternoon. High's ranged from the mid to upper 70s to lower 80s for some inland locations.
Tonight, more clouds will begin to move into the Coastal Bend as a more east-southeasterly wind comes in right off the Gulf of Mexico increasing low level moisture and bringing more clouds into the area overnight. Lows will only fall into the lower 60s versus the 40s we saw area-wide this morning.
Sunday will not be as great as today, but should still be fairly nice as warmer temperatures in the lower to mid-80s are expected across the region. Winds will be out of the east-southeast around 10-20mph with gusts around 25+ possible. Clouds will also be more prevalent compared to today's blue skies.
Temperatures continue to warm up through Tuesday of next week before another cold front arrives late Tuesday and early Wednesday bringing some cooler air, not as strong as our last front, and an opportunity for some isolated showers and thunderstorms with frontal passage. We keep clouds and small opportunities for some light rain for the end of the week.
Have a great Sunday!
