Gonzales Convicted of Capital Murder

CORPUS CHRISTI - A Nueces County jury has found Jose Gonzales III guilty of capital murder for the death of his common-law wife, Leslie Morin. He was also convicted of breaking into her family's home in order to commit the murder. Prosecutors were not seeking the death penalty in this case. Gonzales will receive an automatic life sentence.
