CORPUS CHRISTI -- A computer glitch that left American Airlines passengers stranded at airports nationwide also affected travelers at the Corpus Christi International Airport.
Many passengers said they waited for hours at the American Eagle counter only to find out that their flight had been canceled. Initially, the airline said it expected the glitch to be fixed by late-afternoon. While the glitch was fixed, most flights remained canceled.
Passengers who were not on the only flight that departed at 5:30 p.m. en route to Dallas were forced to either go home or stay in a hotel for the night.
