Gas Station Bomb Scare

DRISCOLL - Several homes were on lockdown Friday night after the bomb squad was called out to a stripes store in Driscoll.

Someone called in a suspicious object, on the ground near one of the gas pumps.

Neighbors say police went door to door, telling everyone to stay inside their homes. The bomb squad was even called out.

After all that chaos, it turns out, the suspicious device was just a half-gallon jug of milk and some roses.

The Driscoll fire department would not say why exactly the milk and roses sparked their suspicion, but as they say, it's always better to be safe than sorry.
