REFUGIO - U.S. Marshals travel to Aransas Pass to pick up a man wanted for murder three months ago in Refugio County.
Michael Rocha, 35, is accused of shooting Paul Lopez Sr. several times in the backyard of his home in Woodsboro. Lopez's body was found by his family.
The Refugio Co. Sheriff's Office says Rocha killed Lopez over a "long time vendetta." According to investigators, Rocha is a Raza Unida gang member with prior arrests for weapons, family threats, burglary, drugs and for skipping bail.
Rocha's also on parole for a federal offense.
