Game System Causes Fire At North Beach Hotel

NORTH BEACH -- Fire crews rushed out to the Days Inn on North Beach after a game system set fire to a hotel room.

Firefighters say the people in the room left a pile of clothes on top of a game system...which they left running while they went out.

A short while later, the game system and clothes caught fire and the smoke began to build up.

Thankfully, another person -- staying at the hotel -- noticed the smoke and put it out with a fire extinguisher.

No one was hurt.
