CORPUS CHRISTI -- the funeral for a man killed in a suspected drunk driving crash early Monday will be held Saturday.
Jonathan Aleman, 22, was not wearing a seatbelt when the SUV he was in rolled over at Staples and Kostoryz around 1 a.m. The driver of the SUV, 22-year-old Michael Valenzuela, was charged with Intoxication Manslaughter for the wreck.
Jonathan's family told us today he was a hard worker and could put a smile on anyone's face. "If I was ever feeling down, I could always give him a call and he would always be there for me. Be there for any one of his friends as well. He was just such a well liked guy. We're all gonna miss him dearly," said Jonathan's brother Joseph Aleman.
A rosary will be held at 5 p.m. Friday at the Funeraria Del Angel on Holly. A funeral service is scheduled for Saturday at 11 a.m.
A benefit account has been set up at Wells Fargo Bank. You can make a donation to help with funeral expenses using the account number 8966853296.
