ARANSAS PASS - The family of Jenna Hernandez, a teenager found murdered in Aransas Pass, invites the public to join them as they lay the girl to rest.
The family is holding a candlelight vigil on Sunday evening at Conn Brown Harbor in Aransas Pass. The vigil beings at 8:30 p.m.
Visitation will be at the Charlie Marshall Funeral Home in Aransas Pass. The visitation starts Monday at 3 p.m. followed by a rosary and celebration of life at 7 p.m., also at the Charlie Marshall Funeral home.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday at the Charlie Marshall Funeral Home at 2 p.m.
We're told the family of Jenna Hernandez needs some help paying for the service. Family members have set up the Jenna Donna Hernandez Memorial Fund at Bank of America.
The Aransas Pass Police Chief emphasized this murder is in no way connected to the one that happened in Portland on June 23rd.
