A fundraiser will be held tomorrow for the good samaritan who was severely injured when he stopped to help two people who were stranded along the side of a road.
21-year-old Johans Bravo lost his leg when police say a drunk driver slammed into the back of the car Bravo was pushing.
Bravo plays for a local semi-pro football team called the South Texas Bone Crushers. Teammates say the father of a 2-year-old girl is a very selfless man.
The fundraising barbeque is set for 9 a.m. Saturday at the Bone Crusher's field next to South Park Middle School on McArdle.
