Friends Host BBQ Benefit For Victims Of FM 70 Crash

CORPUS CHRISTI -Friends and family held a BBQ benefit for two of three people killed in a head on car accident about two weeks ago near Bishop. Troopers say the three men died when a pickup truck and SUV slammed into each other on Chapman Ranch Road.
A friend of victims Jose Luis Hernandez and Santiago Granados said their families need some help with funeral expenses. Today they prepared 200 plates at $7 a piece. A friend said they want to plan another benefit to raise even more money.
