Friends and Family Work to Help Little Girl Create a Smile

CORPUS CHRISTI - Friends and family of the Pineda family are gathering tonight to plan a large BBQ fundraiser event for little Mykayla Pineda who was born with a cleft palette.

A friend of family tells us the surgery to fix Mykayla's lip is set for May.

Very soon, I will be sitting down with Mom, Dad and Mykayla to talk about the upcoming event to help give a little girl a beautiful smile.
