CORPUS CHRISTI -- Flag football for charity, sounds like a good time!
Corpus Christi Police and Fire Departments, Nueces County Sheriff's Office and Robstown Police Department competed in the game this morning at the John Paul School Field on Saratoga.
The League of Latin America Citizens organized the event in it's fifth year called the Toy Bowl.
To watch the game, folks donated a toy or money to help the needy this christmas.
Bobby Balderas said, "So, all this money we make, all these toys we collect is for them, for the Christmas holidays. That's what we do with this money."
By the way, Nueces County law enforcement beat Corpus Christi Fire Department 25 to 12 and CC Dogs beat Robstown Police 26 to 21.
