GRAPEVINE - Police say a North Texas man has been charged with not helping two teenage friends who died after alleged drug and alcohol overdoses at his home.
Grapevine police Sgt. Robert Eberling says 22-year-old Cullen Marino faces two counts of criminally negligent homicide. Marino was being held Monday in the Grapevine City Jail on $10,000 bond.
Counselors are available at Southlake Carroll Senior High School following the deaths of 17-year-old Kyle McNutt and 18-year-old Chase Nunez.
Police believe the Grapevine youths became unconscious after using alcohol and drugs Friday night and Marino carried them to a bedroom. Marino's father call 911 after finding the victims unresponsive Saturday. The teens were dead when paramedics arrived.
Toxicology results are pending.
Jail records did not list an attorney for Marino, who was arrested Sunday.
