CORPUS CHRISTI - To commemorate Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Day, the National Park Service will waive the entrance fee to visit Padre Island National Seashore, and all other national parks, on Monday, January 20th.
Residents and out of town visitors are encouraged to take advantage of the opportunity to visit this remarkable coastal park at no cost and explore a portion of the world's longest undeveloped barrier island beach. Be advised that activity fees for Malaquite Campground and Bird Island Basin still apply.
