CORPUS CHRISTI - Four people went to the hospital including two children due to an accident at the corner of Staples and Hamlin this evening. Witnesses said a woman driving a four door passenger car north on Staples when a truck going east on Hamlin blew a stop sign slamming into her car.
The children were taken to Driscoll Children's hospital with minor injuries. Police say both drivers suffered injuries to the head and were also transported to the hospital. Police expect to cite the driver of the truck for running the stop sign.
