CORPUS CHRISTI - Four men were taken into custody last night following a dispute between neighbors over gunfire at the Christy Mobile Home Park in the Calallen area.
Three witnesses told police 26-year-old Cory Baker was firing a gun in the parking lot. Baker is accused of striking one of the men with a baseball bat when the group went outside to see what was going on.
Police arrested Cory on a charge of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon.
As officers were trying to figure out the situation themselves, 28-year-old Cody Baker started cussing at police about the arrest of his brother. Cody was arrested on a charge of public intoxication.
Another brother, 35-year-old Marshal Baker, is accused of trying to stop police from arresting Cody. Marshal's accused of punching an officer in the face. In return, he was hit with a zap from a taser. He's now charged with assaulting a public servant.
Police also arrested 32-year-old Christopher Garza for an outstanding warrant from Brooks County.
