SAN ANTONIO - Four members of the same family were killed in a crash with an 18-wheeler heading the wrong way on Highway 90 early Sunday morning.
Those killed in the crash are Kenneth Koontz, his wife Melissa, and their two teenaged daughters, Marley and Melissa.
The only survivor from the family is their son, Zach. He's in critical condition at University Hospital in San Antonio.
The family has a home in Brackettville, Texas, but we're told Kenneth Koontz received his Naval flight training and later became an instructor at NAS Kingsville in the mid-1990's.
Authorities said the truck driver, Ruben Galindo, 60, was heavily intoxicated, as he was speeding and driving the wrong direction on the highway.
He's charged with four counts of intoxication manslaughter.
