Four Coworkers in Flipped Truck Along FM 624

CORPUS CHRISTI - Speed and high wind gusts are blamed for a rollover crash on FM 624 about a mile east of Bluntzer. The oil field services pickup hauling a trailer was passing another car when a gust of wind pushed the truck off the road where it flipped over.

One of the workers tells us he was asleep in the bed of the truck at the time. He and a woman driving by worked to help out the three men stuck inside the flipped truck.

Paramedics took three of the men to the hospital to be checked out for back pain. The guy in the bed of the truck was not seriously injured.

The driver was ticketed for driving at an unsafe speed.
