CORPUS CHRISTI - On Saturday the Coastal Bend Coaches Association will induct four area coaches into their Hall of Honor.

Current Calallen Head Football Coach Phil Danaher, former Tuloso-Midway Coach Joe Sendejar, former Alice Coach Brent Davis, and former Calallen Girl's Basketball Coach Leta Andrews.

Andrews, who now coaches at Granbury High School is the all-time winningest high school girl's basketball coach in the country.

Danaher, is the winningest active high school football coach in the State of Texas.

Davis, who is now at San Angelo, is one of the youngest to be inducted into the Hall of Honor, but was one of the leaders in creating the Shriner Football Game here in town, helping to find equipment for the game since the UIL would not allow schools to provide the gear.

While Sendejar resigned from the sidelines after guiding Tuloso-Midway back into the playoffs a few years ago. He has been seen working with the young program at London High School.
