CORPUS CHRISTI -- Former Orange Grove police officer Daniel Jaramillo is once again in trouble with a judge as he shows up for court unprepared.
Judge Missy Medary should have expected things to go sideways based on Jaramillo's previous hearings.
In 2012, he was convicted of stealing more than $4,000 from Gulf Tractor Company by writing bad checks. Then he was arrested for sexual assault while on probation for the theft charge.
He's also complained about having trouble coming up with the cash to pay full restitution to the theft victim. And in one instance, Jaramillo showed up late for court.
"You know, Mr. Jaramillo, I feel like this case has been with me for a very long time. And I'm looking at the docket sheet, and I'm reading kind of all the problems that we've had going through this case," she told him in October.
The judge wasn't pleased when Jaramillo showed up for today's probation revocation hearing without an attorney.
"Mr. Jaramillo, here's my problem. Every single time you come back into this courtroom, there seems to be some kind of issue or some kind of problem."
He'll have a chance at some redemption next week during the rescheduled hearing.
