KERRVILLE - Former King standout Kelsie Jackson had a breakout first year playing at Schreiner University. Not only did she win a starting position and average just under eight points per game, but she also played her way onto the American Southwest Conference's West Division All-Freshmen Team.
"It just feels good to represent Corpus Christi and King, of course Schreiner, my family, my friends and make people proud," said Jackson.
Her squad finished the season with nine wins. While in high school Jackson helped guide King to back to back Region Tournament appearances.
