CORPUS CHRISTI - Former Hooks infielder Brandon Wikoff was listed in stable condition after being involved in a single-car accident on Sunday night in Lakeland, FL.
Wikoff was admitted to the intensive care unit at a local hospital immediately after the accident. Astros general manager Jeff Luhnow said in a statement, "Our thoughts are with Brandon and his family and friends. We're hopeful for a speedy recovery."
Wikoff, the 2009 fifth-round draft pick of the Astros, played in 125 games with the Hooks over the past two seasons.
