Forgery Suspect Found Hiding in Cemetery

CORPUS CHRISTI - An officer with the Refugio Police Department received some help from Corpus Christi police as he tried to find a woman who fled during an attempted arrest on Comanche Tuesday afternoon.

Police say Shannel Donna Tilley, 37, was able to get out the bathroom window of a business to avoid being captured by the out of town officer.

Officers eventually found her hiding in the Rose Hill Cemetery. Tilley's being held for 4 outstanding warrants related to charges of forgery.
