CORPUS CHRISTI- We started out chilly but nice this morning and then it clouded up quickly this afternoon as log clouds and sea fog rolled in. In spite of that we managed t reach a high today of 80 degrees just two off the record high. Here are the details on our strong weekend cold front.
Temperatures and clouds increased ahead of a strong cold front that will arrive late Saturday night. Behind the front cold Canadian air will invade south Texas and overrunning Pacific moisture will keep it cloudy and chilly to cold the majority of next week with a little bit of light rain or drizzle as well. Winds will be strong ahead of and right behind the cold front as well.
Tonight expect cloudy skies breezy and damp with areas of sea fog along the coast and much milder with a low of 69.
Saturday will be mainly cloudy windy warm and humid with a high of 82 tying the record.
Sunday expect scattered showers (mainly in the morning) windy and colder with temperatures staying in the 50's all day.
Expect lows mostly in the 30's (but staying above freezing) and highs only near 50 Monday thru Wednesday of next week.
Have a nice weekend.
