FLOUR BLUFF -- Police released the results from a neighborhood crime study at a meeting Monday night.
The study, which was conducted in January and involved more than 30 law enforcement personnel, showed that residents who live along Roseanne and Dune Streets feared crime the most.
Authorities said they will add patrol officers to the areas where residents had the most concerns.
The following is a truncated list of some of the questions and results:
Do you feel safe? 90 percent: yes. 5 percent: no.
I believe there is a gang problem. 73 percent: no. 11 percent: yes.
I believe there is a drug problem. 52 percent: no. 31 percent: yes.
I believe there is a graffiti problem. 75 percent: no. 15 percent: yes.
I lock my vehicle doors at night. 91 percent: yes. Four percent: no.
I lock my house at night. 97 percent: yes. Two percent: no.
