Flint Hills Bomb Threat

CORPUS CHRISTI - A bomb threat put part of Flint Hills West on lock-down last night.

It happened just after 10 pm, when someone found a threatening note written on a skid-o-can that said they had a bomb in one of the units.

No one was evacuated, but traffic was stopped from going in or out of part of Flint Hills West.

Several cars were searched, and K9s were used to check the unit in question, but nothing was ever found.

Everything was back to normal by midnight.

In fact, a spokesperson with Flint Hills said the refinery never stopped operating during the incident, and that they followed standard safety procedures.
